Great quality Gates hose. Fits the 1/2 fittings perfectly. If you are looking for a metric measurement it is 12.7mm. The transmission cooler hose is made in Mexico so the quality is exactly the same as USA. Stay away from made in china hose it is all trash and never lasts long. I provided pictures of everything printed on the hose. It is rated to 400psi working pressure. This is the perfect amount of hose you need to install a 6.0 transmission cooler in a 7.3 truck. I highly recommend!!

Like other reviewers have mentioned, I used this to adapt a bigger transmission cooler on my 7.3. With the barbed fittings, and pex compression fittings I was able to achieve a near factory setup.

The hose is perfect for trans lines but the if the metal tubing you're splicing into is 1/2 inch the hose is .5mm to big so if you opt to use it make sure you use 2 clamps or a wide band clamp that is designed for compression applications

Happy with the performance of this product. I used it to replace a leaking power steering hose in a BMW E36 Power Steering reservoir line. This Gates cooler line was the perfect width for that application. Also useful for this job was a new set of hose clamps (Precision Brand M6S Micro Seal, Miniature All Stainless Worm Gear Hose Clamp, 5/16" - 7/8.) The combination of both items was the perfect solution for my repair.

Gates doesn't disappoint these are high quality lines I used on my 99.5 7.3L powerstroke to go from a 3/8 to 1/2 barbed fitting on a Ford OEM 6.0 transmission cooler. I highly recommend these lines unfortunately nobody stocked these lines locally!
