Just installed in our 2013 Cadillac Escalade ESV Platinum with 148k miles and I think it was all original still. Replaced the tensioner, idler pulley and smaller AC stretch serpentine belt while I was in there and it is noticeably quiet. The original GM belts were Bando but I have trusted Gates for the last 37+ years on all my cars and SUV’s and I am confident that this belt will last longer than me keeping the truck, Do it once and do it right is how my father and grandfather taught me when it came to cars. The upgraded HD Fleetrunner in the green box was only a couple more $s on Amazon than the normal red box Micro-V so I decided to try it out.

This is a perfect fit for my 2011 Silverado 1/2 ton with a 5.3 V8. All you need to change your belt is a breaker bar and socket to fit on the tensioner pulley.

Picked this up cause it was almost half the price of the HD AC Delco belt and I needed a replacement right away. Ive used Gates belts on cars before but I have always kept my Escalade OEM AC Delco since new.I figured a belt is a belt , why not.Im pleasantly surprised, the quality is high and build is solid, even has the carbon in the compound like the OEM HD belt.Time will tell how honhg it lasts in this South Florida heat, the last HD belt lasted 4 years before showing signs of glazing and drying out.
