I bought two of these as alternative replacements for the tensioner pulleys on my 2000 Honda Valkyrie. Other than the small mounting alterations to the original pulley's base, they are an exact fit and worked great. I've not had them in for long, but I choose these because they have already been tried and tested by many before me. Check or search the VRCC forums or Goldwing forums for timing belt and pulley replacement.

Got two of these to rebuild timing belt tensioners on a GL1500 Goldwing. Worked perfectly. The factory Honda ones are around $100 each so this is a huge savings. All you have to do is put the factory tensioner in a vise and knock the idler off of the shaft with a chisel, hitting opposing sides by turning it to push it off evenly. It'll take you about a minute. Once that's off, take a 3/8 or so drill bit and drill out the head of the countersunk bolt running through the shaft of it JUST enough to break it off, don't go too far and dig into the tensioner plate, the plate is all you want to keep. To fit the tensioner, I used a stainless M10 countersunk allen head bolt (something like a 25mm length or so) with a flat washer and nyloc nut and cranked it down to about 16-18ft/lbs with Loctite. Best review you'll read all day!

Cheap and quality solution for GL1000 idler replacement, first time requires some work to instal correctly, but ones done, next time easily replacement on few minutes.

Bought and used these bearings as replacements for the original tensioner bearings on my 1980 Honda Goldwing GL1100. They fit perfect and are much better built. Combined with new belts, won't ever have to worry about this part of the bike again.

I liked how close the size was to the original pulley and cost way less to rebuild the tensioners on my 94’ GL1500. I was able to rebuild both of my tensioners with these pulleys for around $50 vs. buying two new ones for $200. Very happy with the end result.

Used in a custom build on a 1982 Honda GL1100. So far they work great! I'll update if there are any issues.Note: they don't free spin like the stock idler pulleys do, hopefully that's okay
