Arrived damaged. No cushioning was included in the packaging. Given it is a hard case meant to hold up, this may not be as durable as one would want from a hard case.

I was very impressed with how rigid it is. It gives me peace of mind knowing that my instrument is safe. There is even enough room for my shoulder rest.

It's advertised as a viola case. IT IS NOT. Buyer beware. I bought it. We opened immediately and tried to fit our instrument in. Nope. Maybe a violin or maybe a smaller viola but not a fullsize viola. Very disappointing.

love the exterior of the viola case. It is solid and your instrument will be well-protected. However, the one lock was not properly aligned which made closing it a bit harder than it should be. I am returning it because of the lock and also because there is no restraining strap for the instrument's neck like my old case has. My shoulder rest also does not fit into the case.
