First the good:It arrived on time and very well packaged, no damage or scuffs of any kind. Fits my 16 inch Viola perfectly and the Bows are not squeezed in and the hinges and latches are very tight and seem to be of good quality. What I really liked, that wasn't mentioned in the description, is that the door to the storage has an elastic strap to close itself. So while you will have to hold it open when getting things out of it, the cover will not flop open dropping everything out. To me this was an unexpected bonus. It's not heavy, it is solid and looks sharp, and the handle is comfortable.The bad:The space set aside for the shoulder rest is a waste. There is a velcro strap to hold the rest but it is only 8 1/2 inches. To me this was VERY disappointing, space for he shoulder rest was an important factor for me. This is why I only gave it a 90% satisfaction. Now if your shoulder rest is under 8 1/2 inches, it's golden.Overall, I am happy with it and not going to return it.

I was looking for a durable and strong case with quality to keep the instrument safe and not overheat.It came with the bow's support broken, detached, and it doesn't glue back.The case overheats quite easily and makes your instrument out of tune and makes the wood very warm, it may damage the wood and varnish.Don't recommend it, avoid it.
