I can't say enough good about this case. I bought this for my 50 year old Yamaha 12-string. The fit is not quite like a skintight glove - there might be 1/2 inch on either side of the upper bout, but I'm delighted - I had the guitar in its original hard case all these years, and this fits better and has much better padding than that original hard case. For comparison: My children gave me a Fender 6-string (without a case) for my birthday, and I bought another case, for $1 less, for the Fender. THERE IS NO COMPARISON in the quality of the cases. I was really picky about the measurements, and I bought a Fender case for this Fender 6-string, and the fit was really good (the 6-string in this GATOR case has extra headroom. So for fit, I made the right choice for each guitar. But, if you want strength in build and latches, the GATOR case is the case to buy. I didn't want identical cases (I wanted to be able to tell the guitars apart by just looking at the case, and I was very focused about fit) but I'm sorry I didn't just buy two of these and add a decal or two to the one holding the 6-string, as a way to distinguish between guitars. This is a FANTASTIC case, ESPECIALLY since circumstances were such that these two cases arrived a week apart, so comparison was inevitable! BTW: I bought the other for two reasons, fit and because I liked that there was a latch at the lowest end of the neck, near the handle. I didn't realize there would NOT be the standard two latches along the lower bout part of the case. So while both cases use 4 latches, on this GATOR case, there are two latches along the side, and two along the bottom (the lower bout), and that arrangement seems more secure. The latch near the handle appealed to me as a point of strength, but the GATOR case offers greater strength in every aspect of its construction. I LOVE this case.

I bought a used Gator case for my classical guitar. I was expecting some scratches, but it is in pristine condition. It perfectly fits my Alvarez AC70Hce classical guitar.

My old 3/4 small sized guitar had been sitting in my closet for a while, getting in my way, and I wanted to be able to protect it from dust as well as be able to stack it on a shelf without damaging it. A hard case seemed like a much better solution than the other soft cases for this.The price was a bit high for my taste. I wish there were some cheaper hard case options but this seemed like the best option out there.The inside of the case is very nice and soft, with a convenient compartment to store a tuner etc.It has 3 clasps on one side and 1 clasp on the other. The middle of the three clasps has a lock on it.So while outside of the case to me looks like pleather that will degrade over time, the description says it's Tolex PVC which is supposed to be very durable and waterproof. I don't know yet about the longevity but I do see a lot of damaged photos in other reviews so I feel skeptical. Maybe it takes a really hard beating to damage the case but I am not sure.We'll see how it holds up over time. I'm really not too concerned personally as I just want it to be protected and don't care about scuffs.One last concern is the warning on another review that a chemical on this can cause cancer. I assume that it's probably some kind of fire retardant chemical. I'm hoping the exposure will be minimal as it will sit in the back of a closet and I think that many other things we're already exposed to have this chemical like mattresses etc. But I kind of wish they'd put this warning more prominently in the description.Overall the case looks nice. It does the job. I might have bought a different one if I'd noticed the cancer warning though.

Works great for my Breedlove. The case is bigger than the body of the guitar, but it fits snuggly without movement thanks to the neck rest. ðŸ‘ðŸ¼

This case is built like a tank the padding inside us thick and the hard shell protects from hard bumps .. I had to check a guitar with this case on a plane (unfortunately) and it protected my instrument 100% highly recommend gator cases.

If you want a reliable & protective case, this one is fantastic. I bought this to protect my $1400 Alhambra classical. Just recently, the tailgate on the Chevy Suburban I was driving malfunctioned and opened in traffic as I was accelerating at a stop light. The Gator case flew out of the car (Suburban's are pretty high off the ground too) and landed flat on the pavement ~12-15 feet away. Fortunately, the car behind us did not run it over! Anyways, after retrieving the case, I found that the guitar was completely unharmed, and furthermore, it was still in tune! The only casualty in this accident was a broken metal foot on the bottom of the case. I contacted Gator to see if they could send me a link to purchase a replacement foot, and instead customer support is replacing my case!It's one thing to purchase a great case for a great price, but when customer support goes above and beyond like this (very quick responding too), I have to say that Gator has really exceeded my expectations!Furthermore, I just realized that this case has a LIFETIME warranty to the original purchaser! What a GREAT thing to see a company stand like this behind the products. This is my 3rd Gator case that I have purchased over the years, and I think Gator will now always be my first choice!

Mi opinión está un poco sesgada porque tuve la fortuna de encontrar el estuche prácticamente nuevo en oferta de almacén con casi el 70% de descuento. Pero aún considerando el precio normal, es de buena calidad. Le vino perfecto a mi Fender CD-60S y lo estrené en un viaje por carretera el dÃa siguiente que me llegó, sin ningún problema. El único detalle que debo comentar es que al menos el modelo 6/12 dreadnought es plano, no tiene la elevación que ayudarÃa a proteger aún más la guitarra del aplastamiento. Por todo lo demás, fue una ganga!

Embora seja um pouco pesado (aproximadamente 4 kgs), não diminui a informação importante: protege seu instrumento da forma correta e acompanha cadeado com chave por segurança extra.Downside: qualquer chave que for do mesmo case vai abrir esse cadeado (tenho 2 parecidos).

Llevaba tiempo buscando un estuche para una guitarra antigua (del 1901) y que poe sus medidas y caracterÃsticas no encajaban en ninguna case. He visto las medidas de esta (la de 3/4) y se acercaba muchÃsimo a lo de la guitarra y decidà arriesgar. Encajó perfectamente, como un guante!Aparte de esto me parece una case de calidad, he tenido varias y de varias marcas y esta para el precio que tiene es de verdad excelente.

Der Koffer scheint wie für meine Ashton 12-String gemacht. Sehr sauberer Sitz. Sehr stabil. Vier Klappverschlüsse.Der Koffer ist relativ flach. Innenhöhe: 11,5 cm (Case) + 3 cm (Deckel). ("relativ" bedeutet dabei: Ein anderer Koffer, den ich für eine andere 12-String nutze, hat 13 cm + 2,5 cm.) Dabei ist auch zu beachten, dass im Bereich des Gitarrenbodys eine Handbreit vor dem Hals noch eine zusätzliche ca. 1 cm starke Polsterung die Höhe nochmals verringer; für meine Ashton ideal, da der Gitarrenbody zum Hals hin etwas an Höhe verliert, aber für meine andere 12-String, die eine durchgehend gleichbleibende, auch insgesamt größere Höhe hat, nicht so ganz ideal.Durch die schmale Halsform des Koffers fällt das Innenfach in dem Bereich ebenfalls schmal aus, so dass ein Saitensatz in den marktüblichen Verpackungen nicht flach hineingelegt werden kann, sondern nur schräg/verkantet. Man verschenkt also Platz. (Bei meinem anderen Koffer, der nicht die optisch schöne, aber unpraktische Halsverjüngung zwischen Kopf und Body hat, ist das nicht so; da liegen alle Saitensätze flach.)Die Verklebung des Außenmaterials ist an den Kanten nicht so ganz 100%-ig.Innenlänge gemessen: 111 cm. Innenbreite 42 / 32 cm.Wie gesagt: Für mich bzw. meine Ashton ist der Koffer von der Passform ideal. Wegen des schmalen Innenfachs (schmale Halsform) und der Verklebung würde ich einen halben Stern abziehen, wenn das ginge. So aber bleibt es bei wohlwollenden 5 Sternen.

El case es bueno pero llegó golpeado, solo venÃa dentro de una bolsa como protección, entiendo que es el propósito del estuche pero no es agradable comprar algo nuevo y que venga golpeado
