You will not be able to take on a plane. Too wide. It must be checked. Otherwise it is great and very sturdy.

The Gator Cymbal hard case appears very well constructed. It holds the cymbals firmly in place (I was concerned about them clanking around on the inside.) I have a 20"ride, 16" crash, my 2 hi-hat cymbals, and a splash in there. I will say I'm not sure how many more cymbals it could hold comfortably. My only minor complaints are: A) The plastic pieces in the middle to prevent from keying the holes in the cymbal doesn't stay in place very well. B) It only comes with 1 Large felt for the bottom. I use one of my hi-hat felts for the top, but I also would have liked to see some thin dividers for between the cymbals included. If I use the felts from my cymbal stand the case becomes too thick and won't close.All-in-all a very nice case, and a great price!

After reading the reviews I was hesitant to purchase this cymbal case. Good thing I did because it is exactly how the seller describes it. This case will indeed hold up to a 22" cymbal (I have my 21" ride in it now.) I have a total of 8 cymbals with thin felt sheets in between, and still have room for more cymbals. I do not have a China but I could see it taking up more space which means less room for regular cymbals. I highly recommend this hard case!

My boyfriend finally broke down and got himself one of these cases. I know he’s very happy with this particular one. the reason I gave it four stars on price is because I know it’s not cheap , but I think he thought this price made it worth it and with more gigs lately he finally got himself one after many years. He’s real happy with it he said.

Nothing to complain about. It protected my cymbals during a move from old house to new house. I dont gig or anything so this will see limited use, but it did a great job keeping my cymbals in pristine shape when being piled into a moving truck.

I like the quality and practicality of this case.The only thing that I worry about is the “locking system†that holds both sides of the case together. If the threading gets messed up for whatever reason, the case will be useless.I have seen other similar cases that also have a “strap†for double security.I hope I’m mistaken and it last me for years to come.Cymbals aren’t cheap!!

El estuche tiene un buen tamaño, usualmente transporto un ride de 21 pulgadas, dos crash de 17 y 16, hi hats de 14 y dos splash de 10 y 8, en total 7 platillos y todos caben a la perfección. El material luce resistente y te mantendrá confiado de que tus platillos están protegidos. RecomendarÃa revisar periódicamente si es necesario reemplazar el plástico protector del centro para evitar que tus platillos tengan contacto de metal con metal.

Bought it for less on Amazon than my local L&M store. Basic case. I use mine to store: two 20†rides, 20†china, 18†china, 19â€/18â€/17â€crashes, 14†hats, and a 10†splash without issue. Reasonably priced protection for expensive cymbals!
