No more bulky gloves!!! No more than 5 minutes to install. Ridin at 0°, light cotton gloves, with heaters on lowest setting. Hands still warm!! Husband says he should've bought them when he first started ridin years ago! Well worth the money.

Riding snowmobile my hands get cold on really cold days so I tried these gauntlets. Wow! They slip on and off easily. I can reach all the controls and my mirror works good with it on. Just to experiment I just wore regular light gloves instead of heavy mitts and rode for 2 hours at zero degrees with warm hands the entire time. I don't impress easily but today I'm a happy camper!! They also will fit the atv that I use for ice fishing. Excellent product.

This review relates to the above machine only. The three star rating does not reflect the quality of this item, which is excellent, it is just that these handlebar muffs are, by default a generic item and may well fit a different type of motorcycle perfectly. They will fit a GSA with hand guards, but ONLY JUST! My bike had the additional Wunderlich wind deflectors attached to the factory fitted guards and these had to be removed. If you decided to fit these mitts to your motorcycle bear in mind the following caveat... you must have perfect muscle memory in relation to the position of your controls for, once the muffs are fitted there is not much room for manoeuvre inside. If you wear heavy winter gloves with internal armour these will not work for you (glove on the bottom), if you have gloves where the padding has compacted over time (glove on the top) there is no problem. The starter button has to be operated from outside the mitt, there is no pressure on the switch itself, its just that the space available inside at this point is too tight for a gloved hand. Due to the OEM hand guards the mitt does not cover the wrist completely, however, riding on a 26 degrees F NM morning both my fingers and wrists were kept warm, there also did not seem to be much of a draft funneled through the velcro fastening area either.Pros:They will fit a 2007 GSA with handguardsThey do keep your fingers and wrists warmFitted within five minutesThe wired opening is an excellent feature, both hands can be removed and replaced without any issuesAesthetically, they are not that unpleasing to the eyeAll switches, other that the, ABS and starter switch can be operated as normalCons:They are a tight fitThere is less room in the throttle side than the clutchYou as a rider must be confident that you could use your switches with your eyes closed!Starter button can only be operated from outside the mitt.Thick winter armoured gloves did not work for me. (although, as the mitts are warm a lighter glove might give better results).Hope the above helps. I bought these knowing that,at the advertised price, if they did not fit I had not invested that much to be disappointed. However, I was pleasantly surprised and would be more than willing to purchase again.Update 03/11/19. Having just ridden 750 miles from Albuquerque NM to San Antonio TX in cold, blustery weather I have awarded these another star. Hands we kept extremely warm and they seemed to funnel a lot of the wind away from the forearm aiding stability, something I had not even considered.

The main reason I bought these was due to the wire used in the opening to keep it open after you take your hand out. These do a great job of keeping your hands warm and retaining the opening so you can quickly remove and re-insert your hand s into them. I bought a pair for all my sleds. Highly recommend.

Perhaps I was a little over zealous in my purchase of this item. See, I was going to take my 20 y/o snowmobile on a week long trip to the UP of MI. Knowing the conditions I was going to face, I started looking at devices to help keep me warm above and beyond the standard grip and thumb warmers. After reading the reviews of many other products, I decided that this generic one would do fine.Fast forward.... 5 guys sitting on their new sleds ready to rip on freshly groomed trails, waiting on me to stop screwing around. Ya see when I finally got my sled pull started, I had to go for the throttle quickly to rev it, but couldn't get my glove in fast enough, and the engine died. This time took gloves off, pull started, quickly sliding un-gloved hands into gauntlet to squeeze throttle for some RPMs on a cold engine. Got it running now to put gloves back on, and go. Put gloves on, push into gauntlet, gauntlet then moves, and somehow pushes the red kill switch button down. I ripped the things off the sled, and threw them in the bed of my truck. Had a great time up there, and now it's weeks later, and I think those things are still in the bed somewhere.I gave this item a few stars, because I can see with perhaps a different situation, on a different sled they may be useful. For me they were simply to dangerous to operate my sled with them on.NO WAY I could safely operate the steering, throttle, brake, and kill switch while riding with this device on. If you are taking a nice slow ride in a straight line, at low speeds with no terrain then, yes, perhaps these would work for you.I need to be able to grab my handle bar, not have to get just the right angle to insert my hand into the opening, and gently slide it in till I find the grip.SO If you have an 1973 Rupp 440 nitro that goes max 47mph, and you just putt around in the back yards you may like these. But if you are like me, and aggressively ride your machine though all kinds of changeling terrains these will never work for you. Period.

I used this for snowmachining in Alaska and they work great! Super soft and comfy for riding without gloves
