These strap clamps are imperil, that is to say they are 1 1/2" and nicely made. Sadly, the square tuning I am using is 40mm, about 1/16" bigger than 1 1/2". Hope this helps prevent problems for others that are scratching their heads. I pray for the day the US joins the rest of the world with the metric standard because this is a real pain in the neck... Check you stock steal carefully... j
