I have typically stuck with hss cutting tools, but this has changed my mind. The offset lets me work closer to the chuck without needing to reposition the tool post. The tool angle lets me turn and face with the same toolpost position. And I have been pleasantly surprised by the finish it provides.I would still use hss for an interrupted cut, but for most of my turning, this is my go-to tool.
