This set comes with various little things allowing for your kid to continue playing pretend as a hair stylist. The blow dryer and hair straightener require batteries if you’d like to hear the noises or see it light up. The onl issue is I’m confused on how I’m supposed to close the straightener so it continues making it noise until you haven’t touched It for a while. Other than that, it’s a great set and would make the perfect gift for any kid.

This is the cutest little styling salon kit. I can't wait to have my hair "done" by the 3-year-old! There are only two items I think need a little tweaking, but almost everything is great! First of all, there is a nice water-resistant smock for the little stylist. It is hot pink, has an adjustable tie at the waist. The string at the neck is not adjustable. It is one string sewn on both sides and just slips over the head. It has a very large opening for the head--maybe too big. The smock is made well. I think it would be better if the smock had a pocket for the hair tools.There's a nice little handbag with a pocket. It has a faux leather feel to it--very well-made. The sunglasses fit well in it. I just saw on another review that this can be used as a tool bag for the stylist.The styling products are adorable. We have not tested the battery-operated items yet. The brush is amazing and can be used to actually brush your child's hair. The comb does well, too. You may think the teeth are far apart, but when little "Suzy" is combing YOUR hair, you'll be thankful for the wide teeth so there's no pulling. Very thoughtful design.The little spray bottle will hold water and really spray. The hair accessories are colorful with smooth edges. All are made from plastic.THE BIG QUESTION YOU HAVE IS WHETHER THE SCISSORS CUT OR NOT, am I right?Here's what I found out. Both pairs are made of plastic and are very lightweight--maybe the lightest tools in the kit. The zig-zag edged scissors will not cut paper or hair. The straight edged scissors WILL cut paper, but I tried to cut my hair and it only crinkled the hair. Both pairs of scissors did not cut my hair.That being said, I think I'll still just give the kids the crinkle pair to be on the safe side!We'll have hours of fun with this styling set.

We got this is as a Christmas present for our 2 year old. She loves to watch me do my hair and when I brush hers, she loves to feel pretty and done up. She always steels my brush and walks around brushing every inanimate object lol! I was really happy when this arrived. All the pieces were there and are great quality and will be super fun! I'm so excited for her to open it!

My toddler loves everything to do with hair styling so this was perfect for her. The hair dryer makes a quiet noise and blows a tiny bit of cool air out to mimic a real hair dryer. There’s also a straightener that lights up. There are different attachments for the hair dryer, clips, a brush, an apron, a comb, sunglasses, a headband, pretend sissors, and a little spray bottle too. This kit truly has everything you need.
