Very easy to use and works great. I don't use the top oven as a microwave, but do use it as a makeshift toaster oven. The speed cook function is terrific. In the main oven, the steam cleaning doesn't seem to work that well. It leaves a residue and everything is soaked when it is done but I usually try to keep it clean by wiping it out on a regular basis instead of trying to clean it after it becomes a mess. Minor issues but I would still recommend. Well worth the money.

This unit has a random noise and vibration on the microwave door. The GE technician has come twice to fix it. Both times the noise was there, but could not identify the root cause so they marked it as "works good". The GE customer service line has been less than helpful in replacing the unit. A $200 microwave works better and quieter than this $3000 appliance. Stay away from GE and this model.

There's only ONE THING wrong with this GE Profile product and it is totally unfixable according to GE Technicians. The Timer BUZZER is so soft that you can't hear it at all. If you use the microwave and set the timer, you'll never hear it, especially since the microwave doesn't shut off as it is "cooling" down. The unit stops cooking, but the display says that a fan is going to cool down the microwave. First time I ever had to cool down a microwave! Just using it as a timer only, and maybe with a stethoscope, you will hear it. The Customer Service agent at GE said they had a lot of complaints, and that we should just go out and buy a "timer" if we need one. We replaced our original GE Profile ovens with the newest model, the PT9800SHSS Advantium. The old oven' s "buzzer" worked just fine and we expected a new one to work at least as well. Sorry to say that the newer oven's buzzer is a deal breaker. No local dealer has this machine plugged in and working, so there is no way to test it for yourself. If you expect to hear the timer go off, DON'T BUY THIS MODEL!!! Both of the ovens work well, but why be a slave to keeping watch over your baking needs.

We have only been using this for a few weeks, but initial impressions are very good. We wanted to create space in a redone kitchen so opted to get rid of our double oven and microwave and go with this combo. As we used the 2nd oven infrequently, we believe this to be the best use of space - it opens the space over our range top. The microwave cook feature works well - we did a frozen pizza in it the other day. While not getting the crust as crispy as we normally like, it was fine and browned. It is a bit of an inconvenience to trade out the trays as different ones need to be used for the oven function than used with the microwave. We will certainly use it mostly in the microwave function.Settings are easy to use and the look is a clean modern look.

This unit looks great. Hubby and I installed it ourselves. It's not difficult if you have some electrical/remodeling experience. The oven takes a while to heat up. I've used the top as an oven and really didn't notice much of a speed difference between using the top or the bottom. The advantium top is supposed to be faster... I just didn't get that result. I still love the option of having two ovens if I need it.

The lower oven is great, however, the speed cook smaller oven on top is questionable. Doesn't always thoroughly cook the food without burning the top of it. The top over does not offer a normal bake setting; only convection bake. The lower oven cooks very evenly, true to temperature, easy to clean up spills.

Don't waste your money! Broke within the first couple months of MINIMAL use and GE doesn't seem to want to make things right. They sent out a tech that IS NOT a certified GE tech so GE REFUSED to help him over the phone even though THEY are the ones that dispatched him.

Paid premium price because i thought this will be a High quality made in USA GE Profile unit. It worked for 2 days and than the main circuit board started smoking (literally smoke coming out of the air vents) called GE and they are going to repair the unit and not replace it even though it is less than 30 days old. I did not keep the Huge BOX it came in and it also cost me $300 to get it installed will probably cost $300 to get it uninstalled and find packaging etc. that is why i can't return to seller on Amazon. Not buying any more GE from now on.
