My plate broke from too much heat and then rinsed with cold water. This was the most cost efficient replacement. It took a while to find the exact replacement but this is it!!! My microwave is: GE® 1.7 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Sensor Microwave OvenJVM6175SK5SS.

Went to GE's parts and appliance website, typed in the model number of the microwave, saw the part number of the glass...saw it was close to $100, exclaimed quite loudly, took a copy of the part number of the glass, went to Amazon to search for it, saw the price was much more reasonable, ordered it through Prime, received it, saw that the new glass and old glass was the exact same thing (old glass had YR 02, new glass had YR 05) and placed it in the microwave. Worked like a charm!!I am very happy with the replacement. The old one chipped by accidently dropping the coffee mug on the glass...new one is exactly the same...texture was the same, everything is the same! More than satisfied with the purchase.

Nothing to dislike about this, fit perfectly & looks the same quality as the one that slid out of the Over-the-Range Microwave and smashed to pieces as it hit the glasstop stove.Just be cautious and don't store a carry handled box of Publix chicken in it like my teen son. I went to pull it out and the carousel slid out with it. Shipping was fast enough.

I bought this microwave plate referencing the OEM part number from the company’s website…and the plate does not fit on the microwaves center rotating piece. So this plate was useless.
