Some assembly and tools required to put connectors on the cables. Followed some you tube videos to make sure they were correct. Worked fine.

Cables seem solid, good conductor and decent flex int he shielding/insulation. What I liked, is they came finished on one end, and unfinished on the other (installing the ends is easy; it just screws on). This allowed me to put the pair of cables inside a protective sleeve before finishing the ends, which I appreciate.

I ordered two 25' Solar Panel Extension Cables to provide additional flexibility in setting up our new Anker 2,400W Solar Generator with its associated 800Watt Solar Panels (two 400W panels). The panels only come with short cables which impede optimum set-up; for example, having the solar panels outside on the patio while the generator/battery unit is inside the house.This 10-AWG extension cable is very well made, and much heavier/thicker wire & insulation than the factory cables. This will provide maximum current capacity with minimal resistance loss. One MC4 connector is attached to each red & black cable, and you get a kit of male & female MC4 connectors to install as you wish (typically M & F to each cable).If someone is incapable of installing these simple connectors (crimping and/or soldering) - they should NOT order this. I highly recommend these cables due to their excellent quality!

There are terminals attached on one end and terminals for other end once you install it and cut to length. After running the wire through pipe underground, I realized I had the wrong connectors on the charge controller end. No way to reverse the wires thru multiple turns on the pvc. Had to order additional terminals to match polarity to wire color
