Great quality, easy to read labels on the gauges. Made in USA so HUGE bonus. Lifetime warranty.... need I say more. Replaced my Harbor Freight gauges and they work really well!

needed for a lash adjustment, and it did the job. I am fan of GearWrench and the quality of the product that they make or provided.

In the age of disposable cheap chinese crap, it was refreshing to find a US made product at a great price. Yet if the quality wasn't there, it's no different than the overseas junk. Fortunately this set is incredibly well made and accurate.I like that it has the thumb screw, which other sets on amazon don't have. But the biggest headline is the accuracy. Personally, I'll be using them for setting up and maintaining machines around my home workshop (for woodworking and light metal work). So the tolerances might not be as demanding as other applications. But even if they were, this set would deliver.I checked about half the gauges with a highly accurate set of calipers, and every one I checked was bang on. The laser etched numbers are a little light. But, at least they're not stamped like I've seen on some other sets. Bottom line, this is an outstanding set!

The leaves of GearWrench feeler gauges seem to be made well. None of the leaves have a burr on the sides but some have a slight burr on their ends. The handle has a slight burr all the way around on the inside. I am taking a bit of sandpaper to the handle of mine to avoid cuts.Mine are labeled Made in USA - that's a positive.

Didn’t check accuracy with a micrometer, but for things like gapping spark plugs, just what I needed

I checked all 32 leaves with a Mitutoyo digital mic, and on average, they are all within a range of -1.3% to +3.5% of the specified thicknesses. Most deviations are around +1%, with the average for all 32 leaves also being +1%. To me, that's a very tight tolerance.

No burrs, no liberal coating of foul-smelling mystery oil and grinding dust, all blades are the thickness they claim to be in all dimensionsSometimes, it pays to spend a little more on the brand name tool and not roll the dice on the cheap option. Especially when it comes to measuring tools, no matter how simple they appear.
