Bought this for my niece who overheats easily. I put in the cooler for a couple minutes before we went into the zoo on a super warm day and she stayed cool all day and didn't get fussy or over heated at all. We use it all the time on warmer days now. Such a great product.

I recently got a car seat with sensor safe and can see just how hot the back seat of the car is. Especially rear facing babies since they don’t get any fans typically. It’s usually around 90° in my car, and that’s parked in a garage. I’d pull my baby out and her poor back would be sweaty all the time till I got this mat. It really is a total game changer. I have two, one for the car seat and one for the stroller and would hands down recommend to anyone. Be mindful though, it can start to backfire at certain point. If your car is in the sun too long while you are in a store for example, the mat can absorb heat and actually become a heating mat. So just be sure to check it with your hand before putting your baby back on the mat if it’s been the the heat for some time.

Ordered BLUE whales & dinosaurs with light blue trim. The graphics are actually a more purple tin; the trimis definitely purple.Also the picture shows the white tabs on the Dino side but they are on the whale side(couldn’t see in the description what these are for?). the slits for the car seat belt are angled .The last 2 are minor but it is off from the pics shown.

There are mixed thoughts about the safety features of having this in conjunction with your baby's car seat. But after installing it and being intentional in not letting it sag any of the seat straps, I can 100% hands-down credit this seat cooler to making our car rides endurable. Our son's seat would get so warm so fast and he would be screaming, arched-back, and a hot mess less than 5mins into our drive. It fit in my babytrend infant seat for my 3m old son.CONS: You cannot leave this in the car. We had to remove our car seat after every drive and keep it in the house to prevent it from heating up between uses. If you live in a colder climate that wouldn't be an issue but then again why would you bother buying this if you live in a colder climate...I took this through TSA and they thrashed it on the conveyer belt. It got these black streaks all across it and I couldn't for the life of me clean them off. And you can't really throw this into the washer either.It says you can throw it in the fridge for a little before using it but with having to undo your seats straps and reconfigure it each time, I don't see that as being practical (hence why we would just bring the whole car seat with us).All-in-all. I would buy this again.

We used this in fl on vacation and we’ll never not use it when it’s hot! Easy to clean and transfers from car seat to stroller with ease! Definitely recommend worth every penny!
