I was very impressed with this hat. I ordered it for a costume party but wanted something worth keeping in the future for steampunk/goth stuff. The hat is good looking, sturdy and looks well made. The interior is lined, which surprised me at this price range. My only complaint is that it's a bit large, which didn't surprise me because I'm between small and medium per the size chart. I think the sizing is accurate. There is a ribbon in the hat band that can be used to adjust the sizing, but instead I lined it with several wraps of masking tape and that also worked. Highly recommended.

Great hat, shows up in perfect condition with no weird smells, no problem in shipping, showed up a few days early even. The for is a little off. Ordered two the same size, neither had the strings drawn for sizing and one is drastically smaller. Luckily for my husband and I could fit the other. Just a heads up.

Used this as part of the DC Comic The Penguin costume. I bought a cheaper one and it was horrible. This was a real hat, not a costume piece. Spent more for this but it was worth it to feel confident and not embarrassed with my selection. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quality top hat. If you were going to a formal event like a black tie where you wanted this old time look it would be perfect.

If the hat were to have arrived in good condition, then this review would be more favorable. The hat itself is nice; I'm not a hat afficionado but it looks to be good quality. The problem is it's shipped in this thin little box that is easily crushed. The first hat that I got was completely crushed. I asked for a replacement and got another hat that was acceptably less crushed, but still not in perfect condition. If you're going to be shipping a hat like this I would expect a sturdier box to ship it in.

I bought this for a costume, but it is very well made. I'm not saying it will likely last more than a dozen wearings before getting mis-shaped, but it will last that many.It is quite tall. Perfect for a costume where you want to be a bit over the top, but if you're going for "classic roaring 20s chic", you probably won't hit that with this as it lacks the subtlety for that.

Der Zylinder hat meine Erwartungen völlig übertroffen. Tolle Qualität. In der Verarbeitung, Material, Sitz des Hutes - einfach perfekt. Auch in der Zylinder-Innenseite toll verarbeitet. My husband had one request for the wedding and it was to wear a top hat. It was very difficult to find one that did look like a cheap costume or snowman hat. This one was perfect, great quality and looks like the real deal. I would definitely buy it again.

Very well made, every time I put it on it forms to my head a bit better. Sides and top are strong. Finish impeccable. Something I can keep and use for years to come.
