This has held up well over the winter. It’s very warm, not too bulky and waterproof.My daughter is 10, about 4’3†tall. We did size Large 10/12 and it will fit next year.

My daughter absolutely loves this coat! She says it keeps her super warm on the playground and it's very comfortable. It also has deep pockets with zippers which are great for storing her gloves. Will definitely purchase from this brand in the future!

We live in Northeast Wisconsin, where we can have snow on the ground (and below freezing temps) up to eight months of the year (8 months!!!). Having heavy duty snow gear is essential here. So I am happy to report this coat seems like it is going to work out very well.Overall, this jacket and all of the layers feel excellent quality. The outer material feels like a thick, flexible, water-resistant poly layer. And the inside is a fuzzy soft fleece. It feels like there are layers between the two I just described as well, for extra warmth. Plus the rest of the jacket is nicely done too. The zipper is easy for my daughter to maneuver and she loves the cut out thumb holes. Oh and we both love the bright blue color! It looks really nice in person.... and I love that she'll be easy to spot from a mile away.I ordered this coat a little big and I think it fits exactly as expected. So I would consider this one true to size (TTS). The only thing wrong I've found so far is the jacket was not finished off. Meaning there were a lot of extra threads and strings that I'll have to go back and snip off myself. Not a deal breaker, but it's annoying. So other than that, I'd have to recommend you consider this winter coat. We think it was a fantastic find and we like it a lot!Hope this review was helpful!

First of all, this is the cutest color purple that I've seen in awhile. It's such a pretty color, but its still dark enough to hide stains (if you get any). The outside of the jacket is slick enough that I doubt stains will be an issue. The jacket is made where you can just take a damp rag and wipe it down to keep it clean, reducing the amount of times that you have to put it in the washing machine and adding unnecessary wear. It's a sightly heavy jacket that is definitely even warmer than it looks. Although it has a little weight to it, its not so heavy that it would be cumbersome to a picky 7 year old. My daughter is 7 and weighs about 60 pounds and the size 8 is perfect for her. It fits well but roomy, so she's definitely got at least another year of wear out of it. I'll definitely buy another one in the future if she grows out of it. It's not often that I'm impressed with the quality anymore, but this is definitely a high quality jacket that will last.

The only negative I can find is that the coat seems to run small. I ordered a 14/16, thinking there would be plenty of room for my daughter, but it fits more like a 10/12.Other than that, I have no complaints. It's very well made, is beautifully lined, is really warm and even has built in fingerless gloves. It's so nice!Winter will be here before we know it, and thanks to this beautiful coat, I know my daughter will be plenty warm while playing outside.
