This is a high-quality GM part. Too bad this switch is 1/2" too long for my car, '84 Monte Carlo SS. It also appears to have a metric thread. My car was built during the time when the switch to metric was going on.

This switch is the correct replacement for a failed switch in my 2001 Chev. Astro. The interior lights were intermittently turning on in my van. I decided to check the switches and found that the old one has broken off. This switch is super easy to install. A wrench is all thats required.
