I buy OEM products so there is no question about form, fit, and quality. I bought this to replace one of the power outlet covers in my Hummer H3. Fits and works great.

This worked perfectly to repair one of the cigarette lighters that was falling out of the dash of my 2007 Chevrolet Express.Note the installation order:- Unplug the receptacle- Remove the old broken part from the receptacle by sliding it backward (you'll have to release the 2 tabs from the inside of the receptacle, which can be tricky)- Click this new part into the dash while keeping the wire pulled through- Connect the wire to the receptacle- Slide the receptacle into the dash until it clicks (it's keyed, so it will only go in one way)

I bought this to replace my cigarette lighter. It is very difficult to remove your old one if you decide to do so. That has nothing to do with this item but I thought I would prepare you for that. I think it had melted from the heat of the lighter. I bought the receptacle also which was part # 25774623 for my car. Anyway I now have a 12 volt source to charge and play electronic devices. Love Amazon.

My 2004 Suburban originally came with a pull off cap that (of course) was quickly lost. When I replaced the power port receptacle, I purchased this as well so that I could cover the port. I loved it some much that I purchased a second one to replace the cigarette lighter since it is used in my vehicle as a power port.

Was not a original part and was a big project too even see if it would fit. Also I thought the price was high for all the more it was.

I just needed the cap/cover and it easily was cut off the base of this and fit perfectly.
