Beautiful book with easy to follow instructions. I used the Premier chenille yarn recommended in the book. When you find the yarn in stock, stock up because popular colors sell out fast. I had to wait 6 weeks just to get a few skeins of the rust color to make the fox. While waiting, I made the monkey and it came out so cute. I wound up putting a little bit of stuffing inside the body cavity because I didn't like how flat it was without it. It gave the body just enough structure without changing the way the author intended the finished product to look.Anyone with above beginner crochet skills should be able to easily follow the instructions. These whip up pretty quick, about 4-5 hours each, so they can made as last minute gifts for little ones. I highly recommend that you add this book to your pattern stash if you have children, or even adults, who would appreciate one of these soft toys.

This is a fantastic book, well-written and illustrated! It makes me smile to leaf through the first few pages, learning about the moms who created this book and seeing the pictures of their children with all the lovies. It just warms my heart!I do adore the loveys and how they are cleverly designed to minimize sewing. Complete with excellent illustrations and instructions, this book offers the opportunity for much enjoyment in watching the lovies come to life as I crochet. Also, the moms have explained how to create different sizes if you use a different weight of yarn.There is such a wide variety of adorable animals. I am working on a monkey for my youngest grandson, and I will be crocheting three rabbits for all three grandsons (all under the age of 4) for Easter. I am using Big Twist Blanket yarn, which is a super bulky chenille (#6), and it's a new experience for me. I haven't worked with such plush yarn or size 7 & 8 crochet hooks, but I think the patterns will work up quickly.I am eagerly anticipating creating many of these lovies for my boys. They are unique in design, well-crafted, and just so cute! Thank you, mamas, for sharing your delightful creations!

Dieses Häkelbuch ist soooo unglaublich entzückend. Die Schmusetierchen für die Allerkleinsten sind ein wunderbares Geschenk für Babys. Die Anleitungen sind klar verständlich u es gibt zahlreiche Fotos. Ich liebe dieses Buch u die Knotted Loveys.
