I am so glad I found this mattress. I was looking for an inexpensive mattress to fit a used king size waterbed I had purchased very cheap. I am 46 years old so I wasn't thrilled about the waves I was about to encounter. So, I put a thick feather topper on top of the mattress and its perfect. It works minimizes any movement and I sink into this bed like nothing I have ever experienced. I didn't notice any rubber smells and if you fill the mattress up with air before filling, it makes it easer to position. I thought the cap fo keep the water in was poorly made and feels flimsy and cheap so be careful when unscrewing the cap to fill. Don't forget to add conditioner to the water and you need to buy a fill kit (which usually comes with the conditioner). My 95 pound lab has jumped on this mattress and it didn't even scratch. It appears to be top quality and I am very pleased.

Very nice, inexpensive waterbed mattress. Reinforced corners, thicker plastic material, fits frame well (not too small) we have a Cal. king, plastic odor is not overwelming, by third night not noticable at all. Shipped quickly. Very happy with purchase.:)

Great mattress for the price. This is my second one as I replaced the first one when I moved which is my general rule. Seems you always poke a hole in these things when moving. I ordered this product skeptical of what I would receive but upon receiving my mattress I was surprised at the quality. I am not sure what the mil thickness of this mattress is but it was certainly thicker than I had planned for it to be. For the money I do not think you can find a better quality mattress.

Good mattress, enforced corners. I was surprised that I had to pay shipping but it arrived within 2 days by usps. My patch was going to last another day. Love my waterbed.

My old waterbed starting leaking after about 20 years. It was pretty sturdy and this new one also looks to be sturdy. My old waterbed was semi-transparent and you could see air pockets form due to bacteria in the water. It was easy to put pressure on the bed and force the air pockets out occasionally. This new bed is completely opaque and you cannot see air pockets as they form. I do not like this, but will just have to assume that there are air pockets forming every six months or so and put pressure on one side and roll it towards the air vent to release the air pockets. I generally treat the water with waterbed conditioner every 6 months so I will force out air bubbles every time I treat the water. If it were not for this opaque feature I would give it 5 stars.

We've been sleeping on this mattress for about 2 years now with 3 small children climbing in and out of it and it's held up perfectly. I am super comfortable every night. I can't imagine sleeping on anything else now. I have a heater under it for the winter and it's perfect.

Very disappointing! If my previous mattress had not developed a small leak, I would have returned this one and looked for something of better quality.I’ve been sleeping on full flotation waterbeds since 1982, and I haven’t seen such poor quality in a mattress since the 1980s. The material is thin, the seams are on the edges rather than the bottom, and the corner reinforcing is almost nonexistent. The 20 year warranty is useless. It only replaces the mattress for 2 years and after that you have to pay at least 60% the cost of a new mattress. Even though I don’t expect this to last 2 years, I don’t want another one so the warranty is useless to me.So now I find myself looking for a new mattress even though I just bought this one. As I said at the start, very disappointing!

Does what it's supposed to do. Smelled strongly for a while, I let it air out for a couple weeks before use, now it's not so bad.

I've slept on water beds for years and years. This one ripped open after about 4 months. Usually my beds will start to have pinhole leaks that can be taped and patched. After a few ill order a 2nd mattress to get ready to switch. This one had me completely soaked one night. I've never had a tear this bad ever before.Im going to go back to buying my water bed mattresses from a water bed dealer instead. This was a neat experiment and the bed felt nice, but I can't trust this material to be my next mattress. Especially considering that it costs more than my previous suppliers'.Pros:Ships fast.Cons:ExpensiveLess stable/lower quality material
