I'd say the product has worked well sense I've rebuilt my vacuum pump. No leaks or issues and it's been 3 months sense then.

I have an early 94. My engine uses a slightly different vacuum pump configuration than what this kit is/was designed for. The seal, gasket and one of the O-rings worked but there was an extra O ring that wasn't needed. The smaller O ring worked but I had to stretch it around the groove and I'm concerned it might break. Only time will tell. Also, the directions are mostly worthless because they are geared towards a newer version which has a seal retainer. Luckily the seal was the right size and the gasket was also the same.

First I noticed product did not come in cummins factory packaging but coming through amazon i was not suprised. upon inspection i found a defect in the spring inside the shaft oil seal ring so I decided not to use, also the gasket was a different material than the old one. I ordered a vacuum Pump Seal Kit directly from Cummins and sure enough the seal ring was a much better product, better spring, sturdier material and different design and the gasket was same material as the old one i pulled off truck. this product is sold by ValueRUSH NOT cummins so dont be fooled or waste your time your are better off buying this kit directly from cummins.
