After the lens fell off of my original door light I was lucky to find this replacement. The day it arrived we were quickly getting ready to leave for a wedding, on the way out the door I took it with me and was able to pop the old one out and install the new one in seconds.

Was hard to find the part number through GM. My Tahoe is older and this a great replacement part. It was a true GM part and way cheaper that the dealer

I had this on my wish list but no one would buy it for me as a gift. However, I did get an Amazon gift card so I put it to good use. I received it quickly, took it out to my 2005 Chevy 4 door truck and snapped it into the door. Perfect fit!

Exactly like OEM assembly. Comes with new bulb and socket, however disconnecting main wire from the old socket and lamp assembly proved to be impossible (odd design, thanks GM). So I simply moved the new lamp and bulb to the old socket, and it worked perfectly.

I had to rate this 3 star.The Good: Its a Genuine GM item. Exact replacement for my 2005 chevy Tahoe passenger door.The Bad: It's awfully expensive for a cheap bulb and housing.

easy to instal and replace. came with bulb already in it. snap it out plug in snap back in easy done. good quality
