This will fit a 1997 Chevy S10, BUT, as another reviewer mentioned, you must remove the black "washer" component from the old part and replace it on the new one.

This will fit a chevy s10, HOWEVER you need to take the black part off the old one and put it on thenew on. OR put a thin washer on before you install it. The original has a bigger round mount. I got luckyand changed the black part. It will fit too deep in the hole if you put it in by itself. The wiring will fit OKand plug in

Fit and functions as it should. Replaced broken drivers door switch on a 1999 Tahoe. Removing old switch was a pain but new one popped into place in seconds.
