According to the packaging I can see that it is the genuine replacement, I like it a lot, the installation is easy and fun, I really needed it.

Reasonable price and OEM Quality for a 08 Civic 1.8L. Fit appropriately, only suggestion i have would be that a small tube of the proper sealant should be provided even if it costs more because i am now the proud owner of a large tube of slightly used gray sealant that will probably go bad. A dab of the appropriate sealant will be required on a couple of mating surfaces on the engine head before installing the valve cover with the new gasket. Anyway buy with confidence because this part is a OEM replacement and fits properly and the price is nice.

The gasket is longer than the original one on the head cover, like other customer reviews, I do not recommend purchasing this gasket, it does not fit correctly.

Was a bit worried the fit was off but manage to get it to work after carefully adjusting it by continuously applying pressure as I moved my fingers across the entire gasket several times.

Honda gasket seals well, good price, and is pretty easy to replace (just don't forget to Hondabond the timing chain abutment area).
