It fit perfect on my 2007 2.4 accord. I bought it because the old one was leaking, after having replaced the gasket and a few weeks later I see no oil leaks. The connectors are the same and it comes with a new gasket filter as well. Solved my problem!

My 2010 Honda CR-V was having an issue with going into limp mode. I read the codes and put it into google. This Spool valve/Vtec solenoid was the part everyone online said was the culprit. I ordered a $35 aftermarket part to try and fix it. It lasted 1 DRIVE Before I got limp mode again. After many hours of research and diagnosis, I decided to try the OEM part. My local dealership wanted $200+ for it so naturally I went to Amazon. Found this one and got it ordered. After it arrived, I installed it in probably 10 minutes. Ive driven the car 200 miles since and the problem never happened again! With these Spool valves you're only going to solve your limp mode problem with the OEM part. These engines are picky and require specific oil pressure to work the V-Tec system. Also to anyone that tries this part and is still having issues, Check your oil pressure!!! It should be around 10 psi at engine idle. If its less, its going to throw the same code. If you have low oil pressure look into maybe replacing your oil pump. I just am greatful this saved me! This part actually works! Dont waste your money on cheap aftermarket parts like I did and just get OEM for this part. It will save you in the long run.

This was a direct fit on my 2006 Honda Accord. Took 3 bolts out with a 10mm socket, and switched out the old part for this new part. Put the 3 bolts back in. Very fast fix.

Buy this original Honda part and not the cheap counterpart for they usually do not work. Great Amazon price compared to dealerships.

Local Honda Canada parts shop wanted $600 tax in for this part. Upon inspection, it is exactly the same as the original. Had p2646 on a 2003 Honda Element and tried to change oil after it was sitting for one season. Code stuck around so instead of messing with the sensors and gasket, I just opted to replace the whole valve spooler assembly since the vehicle was close to 225,000km. Cleared the code and it's been good so far.Side note, seller "Japan Ltd." had this shipped from Japan $225 all in. DHL charged $38 in duties and I brought this to the seller attention, they were nice enough to admit fault and refunded me this. Part took one week and I was more than happy to save so much on a Genuine Honda oem part.

Tried 2 Napa(made by Dorman) and both failed shortly after installed ,one right out of garage while setting Idle learn mode.Have had this OEM one on for 5 days now and 2004 Accord 4cyl is running 100%.and am pretty sure it will keep running well.
