This part was genuine Honda. When I called Honda they wanted 100.00 dollars more for this part than I pitched it from Amazon. My son in law installed it and it works perfect. Arrived intact and very well wrapped and in a timely fashion. I am very pleased.

Drop in replacement. No surprises. Worked perfectly. OE is rarely a good value for the money and this is no exception. But price was good compared to the dealer.

I know the cost of this part is not due to the retailer, but if you look inside this part, it's about $5 worth of parts. It's just ridiculous. Fortunately, it resolved the problem and installed pretty quickly.

I have a 2007 Honda Odyssey Touring. The driver side vent blows hot air when using the air conditioning system. I have looked at youtube videos and other sites related to these symptoms. The fix was to change the temperature driver motor assembly on the driver side. There are 4 screws that are holding this unit. The unit is located underneath the center, driver side vent. Once I replaced the unit, the problem was fixed. The installation was simple. CAUTION. Make sure to use a magnetic Philips screwdriver to prevent screws from dropping into crevices in the interior panel. Removing the screws at an awkward position may cause you to drop the screws in the interior panels.

It has been about 2 years were the drivers side heat and AC has required messing with setting to get the teml to switch from AC to Heat and vice versa. Nothing fun about driving with hot air blowing on you when everything is off. Anyway, had to fix door actuator so went ahead and ordered this. Yes a bit pricey and a bit tight of a tight area to work on but so worth it. Easy to do with video.

Worked great for three years, then the usual symptom returned: warmer air on the driver's side. As the original lasted ten years, I was hoping/assuming a genuine replacement part would last about the same length of time. Disappointed as the genuine part is multiple times more expensive than non-genuine.

I got this Temperature Driver Motor Assembly, it came in a carton box not in the OEM honda plastic bag so I don't know it's a honda OEM part or not. but it logo is Denso. I installed it and it works fine for now, let see how long it will last. The hardest part of the installation is to take out the 3 crews of the black plastic tube, the crew next to the white plastic tube is the hardest one to get it off and I managed to get it off, the rest of them is not bad, Take off the bend actuator and put the new one in is very easy,

From all outward appearances, this item was perfectly identical to the original unit that failed after 10 years of service in my 2007 Honda Odyssey (driver side HVAC). Both the old and this replacement unit were manufactured by Denso. This new unit assembled into the vehicle without any issues, and returned my Odyssey’s A/C to good working order. When the old unit malfunctioned, the A/C had begun blowing hot air from the driver’s side vents, cool air from the passenger side. Replacement with this unit fixed that.
