Replaced this part on my moms van. 07 sedona. She had issues with brake light randomly turning on in the middle of the night. Neighbors would knock on her door late at night telling her that her brake lights were on. It was an intermittent issue. Could not really do a proper diagnostic. Battery never died cause the lights would not stay on all night and it has led brake bulbs. This part was really tough to replace. Im a diyer and i have no quit in me but my back was hurting the next day. Nothing i can't handle all im saying is you will struggle if you ain't very handy or flexible. Tight spot and could barely wrench one click at a time. It's been a few months now and no issues with the brake light staying on. Seems like it did the job.

Came out one morning to find a dead battery in our 2008 Kia Sorento, jump started it and saw that the brake lights were on even though the pedal wasn't being pushed down. swapped out the the switch and fixed our problem. Brake lights now function as they should and no more dead batteries.

This replacement part has ended a saga of burnt out bulbs, wobbly braking, and a pesky dashboard light that wouldn't turn off. I'm really pleased that such an inexpensive part helped my car so much. A big "warning", though, would be that if you purchase this you should either be prepared to install yourself or find a shop/mechanic that will install for you. Most shops in my area didn't want to install, so that was majorly frustrating in trying to fix my issue.

Came fast and on time.. problem is that it states to fit my vehicle.. after tearing down panel below steering wheel to get to old part and removing it , to find out that the new parts that's stated to fit obviously has a different shape connection port as shown in photo I'll provide.. it's a genuine part, but incorrect ðŸ˜
