Love the classic/ancient features of this coin purse. It is genuine thick leather and would’ve been perfect if it only closed all the way. I tried securing it as tight as possible, but it still has a large gap as you can see in the photo. Other than that it’s a nice pouch for dollar bills but not for coins.

This is very basic although it has a decent capacity it’s just not very high-quality. The leather is thin and brittle and it just has a cheap feel to it as soon as you hold it in your hands. I’ve put leather treatment on it trying to get it more supple, but it ain’t happening.

This is such a fun and unique item. It would work well for every day use, or as a neat addition to a costume. I would look pretty authentic if there wasn't a moder clip on it. It's a thick leather, looks nice and I like the way it feels. I think because it is a thicker leather, it doesn't close all the way. There is always a little gap at the top. For that reason, I probably wouldn't use it for change as shown in the photo. This is a leather pouch, so, with continued usage and stretching of the leather, it may eventually properly close to be able to hold change. This isn't something we really carry, but we use it more for stones, crystals, and small fossils we collect. It's just a neat collection pouch for us. This really has multiple uses, though.
