I had air bag light flashing on dashboard with one than eight flashes (Error code 18) and was thinking on taking my car to the dealer. After short research I found that the PAD (Passenger Airbag Disabled) light below the radio and AC controls is out. I never paid attention to this light, but I followed the instructions to replace the PAD with this light bulb and now my airbag error is gone. I'll see how long it will run for, it seems that it was the same light as the one I pulled out of the car (2011 Mazda 6).

The airbag light on the instrument cluster on my Mazda 3 turned on. This bulb worked to replace the bulb for the airbag off light next to the 12v outlet.

This one didn't work for my 2009 Mazda 5 as the Passenger Airbag Light. It was way bigger. Instead, I got the light out and bought a off-the-shelf one from Oreilly (14V, 1.4W) and it's the perfect replacement.

05 Mazda 3 had the B1884 airbag light code. Turns out the replacement bulb I had was the incorrect wattage. Replaced it with this bulb and the code went away.
