My 2014 Hyundai Elantra just out of the blue started running sluggish with zero rpms. Luckily I was less than a mile from home. After a couple of days, it would no longer idle in park with the AC on (and AC is a MUST in the South). It went dead on me twice in park with the AC on after less than 2 minutes. It idled raggedly in park without AC.*No check engine light and no code.Researched Hyundai forum and decided to take a chance on replacing the crankshaft position sensor. Watched a few you tube videos and replaced it. For those needing to replace yours, you may see conflicting information on the internet regarding whether your Elantra has to be “relearned” after replacing the CPS. I called Hyundai to ask and nope! The 2014 Hyundai Elantra does NOT have to be relearned after replacement, making it a simple fix for a DIY car owner. Do buy the OEM replacement part for sure. This repair was done in about 30 minutes with nothing more than my hands, a jack and a socket set.You will need to jack the Elantra up and remove the front bottom panel and slide under from the front driver side to remove one end of the CPS, and you will go in from under the hood on the front driver’s side to disconnect/remove the wired end.Important note to remove the bad crankshaft position sensor from the wired end located in the front under the hood, there is a small hole on the bracket. You will need to poke a really small screwdriver or similar object in that hole in order to release the old CPS. Knowing that will save you time and frustration.I have a base model 2014 Elantra 1.8 engine.Super easy, super quick replacement (and I’m a 51 yr old female, so ladies, this is one you can do without paying $300 for a mechanic to do it!)

Buen repuesto sólo que el vendedor no realiza un buen embalaje del producto y por suerte no sufrió daño.
