The dealer wanted $160 to diagnose my inside temperature reading that was too high. Also my climate control wasn’t working properly. I ordered this and it was an exact replacement part. It’s located in front of the AC condenser. Access by removing the panel in front of the radiator under the hood. Use the original mount and you’re all set. Push the lock clip to unplug the old switch, just push the plug over the socket and reassemble.

Outdoor temperature display on my 2017 Kia Sorento was erratic. Would show incorrect temp on start-up, sometimes 20 degrees F lower than actual. Many times, the temp would stabilize correctly after driving several minutes. However, the initial low-temp warning chime and snowflake warning light on the dash was annoying to say the least. I found the temp sensor installed behind the front grill and easily accessible through the grill. No need to climb under the car. Replacement was easy. Now the temp displays correctly on start-up. Very happy with this purchase.
