After removing the old plastic pieces from the area and slipping off the old boot, this new one slipped on and snapped right into the slots. Absolutely perfect fit. The boot looks great and there's a nice snug fit all around. No rattles!This is literally a 5 minute install. The only challenge might be to patiently work the old and new boots over the brake handle. It's a tight fit but it will go if you continue to gently tug it down the handle.

The one I received fit and looks perfect. Was complete with the metal fasteners. I have no complaints what so ever. Went on my 2005 C6. I just wished that the rest on the GMC POS worked as well. This time it was the shift lever cable. Someone before me had had the console out and had damage the boot.
