I'll keep this brief to let you know that these are indeed OEM lower ball joints, at a great price.We picked these up for a 98 4Runner, which was a new purchase for us. If you've had your 4Runner for a while then maybe you know whether you may or may not need to replace your tie rods. I initially went in thinking we'd just change out these lower ball joints, but we ended up replacing the inner and outer tie rods.If I had known this going in I probably would have saved quite a bit of time, but to remove the outer tie rods, it was such a pain. Not to mention that when I was able to really get in there to see them, they were in need of replacement anyway, which surprisingly didn't really add that much to the cost.Anyway, we only have a few thousand miles on these right now as we did take it on a long road trip and it's been off road several times.

These are genuine toyota parts. I was worried about them being knock offs because the price for both ball joints is the same as my local toyota dealership charges for one ball joint. I went to my local dealer to verify they are genuine toyota parts and they are identical to what the dealer had in stock. With the great price this seller is offering I would highly recommend them.Just to point out oem means original equipment manufacturer but beware... there is a company named oem and they will sell parts labeled as oem toyota parts. They are not made by Toyota. They say they are made to the same standards and they might be but my personal experience is and what every toyota forum will tell you is there is no lower ball joint on earth that is as dependable as toyota manufactured lower ball joints. Buying anything else is a risk no one should take.

Half the price that you would pay a dealer, and the parts are extremely good quality as you would expect from Toyota. If they fail, I will update this review.

this is the smaller of the two sizes used on a 2004 Sequoia. Looking at other reviews it looks like this is the larger --> https://www.amazon.com/2004-2006-Toyota-Tundra-Sequoia-Genuine/dp/B07NZ24NJJVERIFY what you needPart looks great, but it's the wrong one if you need the bigger one.

As for being such a critical part along with numerous comments on do not use anything but the oem toyota lbj, I would agree. To save maybe half the price with a aftermarket part that will most likely not last not near as long as the oem and be at risk of failure then costing triple in the end to repair along with being stranded with a damaged fender on the side of the road is not worth it. I recieved my box packed well with the pair of LBJ assemblies, great price and glad with the real deal OEM Toyota parts. Too bad they do not include the bolt hardware though...
