  • Our flying TERROR PTERODACTYL is detailed using real museum fossil references from the Jurassic age. All the shapes and lines are to scale and the skin on the body reveals all the muscles in the arms and body. The Pterodactyl model is hand-painted and just like in nature, no two are exactly alike.
  • Carefully shaped in the “glide” position for high flight performance and made from nearly indestructible, durable EPP foam with a huge lifelike 33” wingspan.
  • They can be assembled in seconds with plug-in wings and tails, plus all include a small hook for displaying from the ceiling when not in use.
  • Flying any of our 3 life-like models is easy (We also have a Eagle and Hawk). For play around the yard or in smaller areas just grab underneath and give it a throw. With a little more space, like a local park or playfield you can use our Extreme Launcher System to gently launch your model up to 50 feet high where it then automatically disengages so your model can then soar free in flights of 250 feet or more!
  • The included launcher will easily get your model up to 30ft or more depending on wind. Only one person is needed; after setup in a baseball infield sized grassy area just pull back the model bird, point into the wind at let it go. The model will gently be towed up like a kite then automatically let go of the line in free flight. Just grab the end of the line at the ribbon and do it again! You can experiment with the length of your pull back but it usually just takes 8-10 steps.

We love this toy and love that it is designed to “break away”. Some pieces have permanently chipped off but is still flies high. Great value, lots of fun. It can go a long distance so make sure you play in a wide space not a backyard.

Absolute junk. Cheaply made painted styrofoam. This broke almost immediately after we purchased it.

Birthday gift for 3 y/o nephew. He played with it more than the airplane glider. Surprisingly the foam withstood countless flights, crashes and him stepping on the wings (still flies). He was able to rub some paint off by shoving it into a bush before his father could stop him. Again while unattended, he was able to pop off the clear protective nosecone but we reattached that. He tossed it in the fishpond and it was quickly retrieved/not soggy, still flying. 8 y/o sister was far more successful at longer flights. She and the adults enjoyed launching it with the rubber band accessory. His father and uncle managed to knock off the lower flight stabilizer (manufacturer provided decent enough double sided adhesive tape) by throwing a foam airplane glider into it midflight; again easily reattached. Do have to push the wings back into the body following hard landings after extended rough use, but he's still happy with it. When not throwing it, he'd run through the yard with it over his head pretending to fly. Would last longer with older, less rambunctious child (and more adult-like adults!).

My son begged and begged for this and finally I did get it for him. Wow, we were surprised at how amazing this works. We’ve taken it out a few times now and it flies really well. We will be getting this as birthday gifts for his friends! Such a fun activity and much more fun than a typical kite.

Like most people I bought this to burn some of my toddlers energy during this stay at home lockdown. It’s a neat concept, but the product is shoddily made. The two cheap pieces of tape to hold the sturgeons in place fail after the first few flights. The thing is constantly separating in the middle as well. I had to perform surgery on it by adding cable ties through the sturgeons and taping the body together. Otherwise I was piecing it together each time my kid retrieved it for the next launch. If it cost $5-10 I wouldn’t mind and would likely give this 4 stars. But I paid $30! For that amount I expect a product that is more durable and doesn’t require me to perform alterations to have it work reliably. Avoid this product unless they lower the price or beef up the design!

First flight went well until landed on grassy area and the wing snapped. Had to bin, not worth £35 , maybe £10!!!
