Our son was about 3 months old and suffering from colic when our pediatrician suggested that he might have acid reflux because he was projectile vomiting several times a day. He told us to add 1 tablespoon of rice cereal for every 2 ounces of formula. It started to help right away. In fact, without the rice cereal on Zantac medication only, our son still struggled. Now, he doesn't even spit up. It happens so infrequently that we're shocked when he does.He is now 7 months old and after 4 months of rice cereal, he's doing very well. I don't know if it has affected his weight but he's a very big boy. He's 7 months old and wearing 18-24 months clothing!We also mix rice cereal or Gerber oatmeal with his breakfast and he likes it very much. It also helps him sleep deeply for his first nap of the day.

This is our go to starter rice cereal, suggested by our pediatrician.This multipack was under $15! I saved a few bucks! Plus free Prime Shipping!!! Love it!!Happy with purchase - I'd never ordered a food item from Amazon, let alone a food item for my 5 month old. This has opened a new door for me!The delivery came earlier that expected- 2 days early. :)Thank you Amazion. You have opened a new door for me! I have never ordered any food product form you before but now that I trust it will be packaged to maintain its integrity- I think I will make it a habit!!!***Packaging was great. It was delivered in a large Amazon box (with diapers I also ordered) the te cereal was in a long rectangle shaped thick hard cardboard Gerber box and inside that was a white thinner cardboard holder to aid in preventing damage to the miltiple plastic containers of cereal!!!BRAVO on the packaging!!!. If it had been anything less I would have been very skeptical. I want nothing but the best quality for my family, in this case my sweet baby boy especially when it comes to nutrition!!I will order this multipack again, as well as other food items if they come packaged this well!!!Thank you Amazon and Gerber. Kudos on price and packaging!!!

This is a good quality food. Not all formula has sufficient DHA (which supports brain function) and so this is a fantastic addition to your baby's diet. I love that it has probiotics.

Bought this before reading a lot of the negative reviews about expiration dates within a few months of arrival but that was not the case for my purchase. Maybe they worked that out in more recent shipments? Ordered May 2017 and ours expire in May 2018. Also did a taste test for freshness and while I don't often find myself eating baby rice cereal, thought this had great taste (though rather bland but that's the point right?) and just a little bit of sweetness. Definitely a great first food. Thought the price was good compared to what I've seen locally and it was nice to have it shipped to my door in a quantity that will last for a while.

I love this baby cereal. This has been the ONLY baby cereal my daughter has been on since she was an infant and now that she's 2 years old she STILL uses this cereal but in her night time bottles. I love that it has the extra properties of the probotics and DHA, unlike the standard regular cereal I feel it gives them a great boost in growing and for their Brain development for added nutrients. Nothing bad to say about this cereal from gerber.

It’s awesome that it has DHA and probiotic. But for some reason my baby does not like this cereal even though paediatricians recommend starting solids with rice cereal. She prefers oatmeal cereal also my Gerber. Great part of giving baby cereal is the added iron that babies start running low on by 4-6 months. And iron is important for learning and overall well-being.

We mix this with baby food and it works great! Our kiddo doesn't like the texture of baby food alone so thickening it helps. Also, you get the added nutrients and probiotic of the oatmeal! Will continue to purchase if needed! Highly recommend

My baby is the TRUE Gerber Baby. He is just 12wks but has been on cereal mixed into his formula for over a week now. His doc approved & suggested this so I wanted something for him since he's a growing boy. I will be ordering more of the grains in the next few order. The product mixes well & tastes great. Don't get why there's negative reviews. Those must be from people buying from non-Prime & not reputable sellers. The experation date is fair given I got a six pack & see them being gone months in advance.
