This RC car offers a lot of bang for the buck. It is nine inches long and five inches wide and is of very solid construction. There are also no small parts externally which can easily break off and present a potential choking hazard to very young drivers. The hand held controller is user friendly, the buttons for forward / reverse being on the left side and left / right buttons on the right side. They are a little stiff and levers would be a better choice, but not at this price piont which is likely why there is also no speed control.Whatever the speed, it is definately adequate for indoor use as the car will arrive in front of a chair or table leg almost instantly. If, or actually when contact with such is made, the car will just bounce off causing no damage to any furniture piece or itself. On the handle held remote, forward / reverse control is always active. The left / right control also engages spin. Separate buttons engage lateral movement, motor sound on and off and body up or down configuration. The wrist controler remains in the box, it will likely not see use.The steering is at least 40 degrees with each button pulse, which is a little too much indoors with the car's speed and little practise. Outdoors however, this is not a problem and the speed is welcome. Battery removal from the car is tooless and battery life is about half an hour on a hard surface. Recharge time is an hour and a half roughly. Only one 3.7 volt 500 mah battery is supplied, but extras are available on Amazon with a search. A 3.7 volt 1200 mah size is suggested as the battery life will be in the 45+ minute range. Be sure the connectors are the same as you may encounter differences.

My grandson really like it, wild and fun to play with. Be careful, though, don't lose that weird plug-in device....we did and now can't use it.

This thing is tough, it’s been dropped, bent, and still survived.One huge con, it cannot drive upside down when it’s flat which defeats the whole purpose
