This tape works a little differently than all the tapes that I am used to. The tape stretches as you pull it out from the roll and stretches a bit. Tape is very sticky and feels a bit like stretchable plastic material, but it works out for me for the project I am working on.

Very easy to apply and looks great. The only downside is that it doesn’t stick super well if it’s kind of cold. I used it on a room in my basement and the ends keep peeling up, but it’s easy enough to press them back down.

Used 1 roll of the 1/4 inch brown tape to outline Artscape New Leaf decorative window film on ceiling light panels, trying to mimic lead lines in stained glass. The brown tape against the lighting looked black, but the film design had a lot of black too, so it worked out. Tape was very easy to handle, even in long strips; it didn't twist or tangle or get stuck on itself. My job (4 light panels and 2 door windows) used 1172 inches of tape so one roll was sufficient, with 100+ inches left over to correct and fill in. If you want to try this design too, I noticed that the tape receded from the corner intersections overnight, so the next day I had to lift the corners and redo. Better to put down a double layer to stop stretching of the tape. Very happy with the results and WAY less expensive than real stained glass!

The side of the role of tape on this one is very sticky and just collects dirt and hair. The tape itself is stronger and stickier than my previous one, which may be a good thing depending on its use. I use it as marley tape over spike tape in a theater, so it will work fine but be a little bit more of a pain to peel (and not as see through as I hoped).

Do not buy. Product has no backing. As you un-roll it stretches. Threw that piece away. Tried again slowly. Product tears in small strips. See pic. Useless tape.

4" pinstriping is hard enough on it's own, but without a backing this was next to impossible. It's basically rolled like a roll of duct tape so you have to stretch it off which leaves wrinkles before you've even started.I got about 3 feet into a 40 foot project before I gave it up and tossed it. Re-ordered from another company with the peel off backing which worked much better.

It’s translucent! Pin stripe tape is solid colour. Wrinkled when trying to make curves. Terrible. I threw it out I was so mad.

Tape was see thru had to use tape over tape for pinstripe and glue was present on outside of tape every 10 cm, clean of with alcohol wipes.
