Gill products never disappoint. I retired from sailing several years ago but I still buy Gill sailing gloves for working around home. They fit well and I am able to pick up small objects like screws, nuts, bolts, washers, etc., while wearing them. They make great motorcycle gloves for warm weather too.

Last time I bought gloves was about 6 years ago. I bought a new pair (size L, same size on my old gloves) and they were way too small. I ended up needing an XXL in the long run. Beyond that it's your normal quality sailing glove.

Raced the remainder of the season with these, and can already tell I love them. Haven't done any offshore overnighters yet, but these will suit my needs on the Great Lakes very nicely!

The grip on the palms of these gloves are very smooth, and it has been next to impossible to get a good grip on any lines under load, especially on lines with a thinner diameter.

Bought this to belay on a ropes course.They do well enough but second day into use there are strings coming loose.
