These were great for 4 days of racing in San Diego. Very comfortable and my hands came out in great condition. I can't imagine what my hands would look like without them.The ring/middle finger loops to pull them off were a nice addition, especially when wet.They were a little narrow across the palm, but I was in the edge between sizes and chose smaller. The size was tolerable.

This is my third pair of these - they provide excellent grip on wet ropes and wear well. The biggest issue is stitching in the ends of the fingers breaking before the gloves wear out.

We sized up based on some reviews but that didn't work for us. We bought the XL and exchanged for L. My husband has average hands. I think these fit true to size.

Going to get back out on the lake this summer, felt like getting some gloves. All the reviews said to order a size up . Ordered the xl , they seem to fit quite well in the palm / hand , but the fingers feel a bit tight -- perhaps they will loosen up a bit . Seem well made.

Previously Gill’s gloves have always worked for me but this time I ordered and while the gloves fit well and worked, there were seams running along the fingers which would rub against your knuckles causing them to be raw and painful.

My wife loves them. Well made and fit well. This pair replaces a pair she has used for 23 years of sail handling. They still had life in them, but she wanted new gloves for offshore. I’m still using all my original Gill stuff.
