Marine Mechanic for 15+ years, this pin is way better quality than the steel one Mercury sells for nearly $400 (which doesn't include the seal, bushings, or nut).Combine this with a transom rebuild kit with all the bellows and bearings, etc, and a new shift cable, and you will be back to 100% after a little bit of labor.

Didn't fit. Machining looks good and comes with all seals.Return window closed. bummer.

The pin is an excellent fit. The nut wants to cross thread. This is the second one I have bought from this supplier and had the same issue. I had to use a brass nut on the first one. The nut supplied is nut cut correctly.
