My kid has a dress she loves but without sleeves, she couldn't wear it in cold weather. Because of the kitty nose, ears, and whiskers design on the bodice (which is what she loves about the dress) a cardigan wouldn't work without looking sloppy open or covering the design if buttoned.This worked out perfectly! It still allows the ears to poke up without covering them, it doesn't hide the kitty face, and it keeps her arms warm. She's also obsessed with the thumb hole, which some of us parents remember having to make ourselves during our angsty teen era. Kids these days have it so much easier! ;)

I ordered the bluish gray shrug and it's really cute. The style is great, and it looks nice over a black leotard. It is designed to be tight fitting. It fits true to size, so order up if you don't want it super tight. The quality is just OK as it is lightweight polyester. I arrived in a tight shrink wrapped package and it was difficult get the wrinkles out. Otherwise it is a good product.

Comfortable and true to sizes. My daughter loves the dusty blue-grey color and thumb holes! The quality of the material, seams, and stitching are excellent. My daughter likes to wear this during stretching, warm-ups, and between classes. It keeps her warm, but is still breathable. It's also comfortable enough that she's worn it with her lounge wear around the house.

This little Dayrose Girls Ballet Shrug has Long Sleeve that goes over a Girls Dance Top. It looks great when it’s worn over Leotards for Dance and Gymnastics practice or to a tournament. It’s fitted nicely to the arms and shoulders so your girl can easily wear it while practicing or performing. Recommended.

Really cute, well made dance shrug for my 10 year old dancer. It fits to size so if you want it roomy or to last a bit, consider sizing up.

This is a great shrug for over a dance leotard. It is lightweight, but provides nice coverage and a bit of warmth. The sizing was accurate and it seems to be made well.

This is a good quality, soft, functional wrap. It's thick enough to keep my daughter warm at dance, but it's lightweight and breathable.It looks great and fits her well.

This is a great shrug for wearing over the leotard for extra warmth in the winter months without overheating the child while in class. It simply goes over the shoulders and extends down the arms, ending in, basically, fingerless gloves. It fits in such a way as to stay on well without sliding or bunching while moving with the child and adds just enough coverage. Well done, especially for $14.99!
