This rain jacket is soft and comfortable! This fit my little one pretty true to size in our case (size 8 on a petite 8 year old). The colors are so bright and great for foggy walks, school mornings, etc. The fleece inside is soft and warm, so this jacket is great for chillier seasons too. I washed this on a regular cold cycle and hung to dry, and the colors didn't run or fade. The only minor drawback is the elastic on the cuffs doesn't seem to stretch much- it almost seemed a bit stretched out, but I don't think this really matters much. Overall, very water protectant, cute pattern, great jacket!!!

I ordered this coat for my granddaughter and she loves it! It is surprisingly thick and warm and it does repel water very well.
