My tween daughter has used this set several times for a base layer when skiing and also as a base layer under her every day clothes on cold days. She says she hates them because she doesn't like tight clothing BUT she keeps wearing them so she is seeing the value of having another layer for warmth!

This set of long johns, is perfect for underneath clothes as a second layer for my daughter to go to school. They also work well as PJ's. They are soft and the color is as pictured.

Everything I expected for the price. The reason for 4 stars is simply because they are above average price, but also above average quality. You are getting what you pay for. No bad seams, no loose threads, and quality construction. Came true to size but a little long in the leg for my daughter. I have an average 10 year old and the pants are just a tad long. Not a problem for her and she doesn't care, but its good to know if you have a taller girl. They wash well and are durable due to it being mostly polyester, still nice and stretchy. Not see through at all so good as jammies as well.

We go to the snow every year and we needed new long johns for my daughter to wear, so we got these. These are the silk style long johns, which are great, because they provide a great base layer, but are thin enough to be able to layer under your snow clothes. These will be perfect to wear this year in the snow.

These are soft, almost silky, stretch nicely with movement, and add warmth as expected. Works great as an under-layer or pajamas.

This is an unlined, thin pair of tan long johns. I got them for my daughter to wear on an upcoming hiking trip. I am unsure of the material; the tag doesn't contain English, but it feels like a polyester blend. Fits according to size and will work to provide an extra layer from the cold for my daughter.
