I've used this extractor on brake fluid, power steering fluid, and water. Absolutely no issues. The capacity is excellent and extraction superior. Highly recommend; keeps the job much cleaner.

Comes in a plain, unlabeled, white box, no instructions, 2 o-rings fall out onto the floor, and 2 separate tubes. Not a particularly professional way to package this thing. No idea what the o-rings are for, or how to assemble the tubes. Also, the graduated scale is very faint, not nearly as clear as what the picture indicates. (The reason I picked this one over the others is because of the scale. But I have a feeling they're all graduated like this, and this seller is the only one who highlighted it like this)After looking at the instructions on one of the other listings, whose seller at least had the common decency to post on their listing, I got the thing to work just fine. But, out of the box, how does one know to push the blue ring in to insert one of the tubes, and which tube to insert first? I know, it's a little petty. But it's annoying to have to sit for 5 minutes trying to figure out something that should be so simple. But, if just a little piece of paper with 3-4 steps showing how to assemble the tubes and what the o-rings are for had been included inside the box, and I wouldn't be sitting here writing all this out.So... 1. Insert the larger diameter tube first by pressing the blue collar inward. 2. If needed, insert the smaller diameter tube into the black fitting at end of the first tube. 3. The 0-rings are spares for use on the plunger in case the old ones wear out.(see... that's not so hard)

Professional mechanic. I got tired of my name brand sucker that kept losing suction. Bought this and so far? Pretty impressed! It works well, I can see the condition of the fluid, I’ve dropped it a couple times and it seems durable enough. I did remove the inner spring because it would push the plunger down and force fluid out. Not sure what it’s supposed to be there for but it works better without it. Anyway, I’d recommend it. I wish the tube was made from silicone for better flex but that would probably push the price up. I just bought a 20’ roll and will replace it as needed.

You have to have this if you own a gas generator, chain saw, lawn motor or any gas powered appliances. Long term storage needs to remove gas from appliance to save it for the next time you need it.

Have used with brake, power steering and transmission fluid. Pleased with performance. Has good suction and smooth action. Will be pleased if it holds up.

I don't know if I'm doing it correctly but the guess with the syringe and then you take the syringe out of the gas cap it drips all over.
