These are pretty darn good goggles at the price. They're not perfect, but they're solid. I picked them up this summer but now I've got a few days under my belt wearing them, so I can give real feedback. The point of comparison is my Zeal goggles, which are a couple years old now. I don't know the line name, but they're along the lines of the Cloudfall...interchangeable, rounded lenses with pop.The Glades are visually more angular, so they have an updated feel to them. However, the lens is flat, and deeper top to bottom. So I can easily put them on over my prescription glasses (which aren't particularly big), but they give up some peripheral vision. Head to head, the rounded Zeals definitely have a wider field of vision. That's not to say the Glades are bad...they just have less peripheral than my rounded lens. The purported upside of these is that you can use them on cloudy AND sunny days. Fair enough. (It used to be that's what all goggles were but, clearly, my dark and light Zeal lenses do different work. And I have to change them out.) I would say these cover a decent middle ground. They don't adjust THAT quickly but they're certainly capable in both situations. They're just not premium in either. Again, fine though. I'd say the flat light function is the better of the two which, to my mind, is the more valuable function.Like me, my 12 year old son has a slim face. He's an experienced skier and he likes these. I'm inclined to hang onto my Zeals for the time being but I keep looking at these Glades on him with a little envy. They look sharp. And I really like the fact that when I tried them, they fit over my glasses (I wear inserts). Still, the peripheral of the rounded lens is key for me when sweeping the hill behind my five year old. And these don't pop like my current lenses. All that said, these are a worthy pair of goggles

I've had a lot of goggles over the years, but these are the best.I get why people love these so much. I've used them going from blizzard to full sun and always felt like I was wearing the right lens for the conditions. In past years, that would have been 3 different lenses to keep the same level of vision. The lenses are prefectly clear, I have yet to have them fog, and the frameless design provides a wide view that few other goggles can touch. While not cheap, no other goggles that I've had are as versatile as these and to me that makes them totally worth the price.
