They are thick enough that you don’t feel that you are going to bend them. The 17†size was perfect. The dresser is 60†and this covered that space perfectly. I’m so impressed. Tip: I didn’t screw 16 holes into my wall. I used 3M tape for 3lb pics then cut those into smaller strips to fit the inside of the “frameâ€. I showed in the 2nd pic but I did shave that off. Then the others I knew the exact size to cut the strip to.

These came very fast. When I took them out of the package they looked just like the pictures shown. They are light weight and durable. The instructions for install are simple to follow. I drilled holes and entered the screw holders into the wall. Screwed them in and then it was all done. I love them and they match my decor very much! I will be buying more for around the rest of my house
