If you have to be old, and it’s necessary to have to take your readers off and on a zillion times a day, you might as well be stylin. These do what they are supposed to do, pretty colors to coordinate with your outfit or mood, soft across the neck and (so far) stay attached to the glasses.

It does the job and is as described. I was and STILL AM IMPRESSED by the length of the eyeglasses straps. Most such straps are much shorter and make it hard, if not impossible, for guys to put on, let alone pull glasses up for use. The straps are 26" long. I have had one break, though it was easy to fix by bending a metal chain loop closed again. The metal chain links are not soldered closed, so if tugged firmly, this can occur. That's typical of eyeglass straps in this price range.

I usually use sport eyeglass straps that hold my glasses when boating, fishing, or engaged in sports. Those holders help to prevent losing my glasses in the water or them falling off my face on impact of some sort. These straps are not meant for that, but surely can be used to prevent losing glasses or at the very least provide a way to keep your sunglasses in the ready position without having to put them in your pocket or in a bag of some sort. I actually have started using these for my reading glasses at work. I usually keep readers in my breast pocket, but it can be bulky and a hassle to whip out and onto my face. These straps let me hang readers around my neck and I can pop them on from an open eyeglass position pretty easily. I can just as easily pull them off my face without much trouble. This at least helps me to prevent losing it when it I take the off and need a place to put it down. No more walking away from glasses and losing them. These straps in particular are nice because they are a leather type material with a braid design. The straps are thin and pliable but not super floppy. It's not obnoxious looking around my neck and the included colors can help coordinate with your outfit of the day or if you just want to stand out. The length is great and ample for on and off activity. The feet loops are rubbery and can stretch to loop around your glasses leg tips. There is a metal collar that helps cinch the loop around the leg tips. Mine have not come loose and are holding nicely, even with skin oils on them. The braided look with colors gives it a hipster trendy vibe for me. Overall, I am glad to use them daily.
