This is a special little item but well worth it when you see their faces light up. If you think your daughter would like little iridescent sneakers that have little lights in the soles of her 14" doll's shoes (tell me, what little girl doesn't?), then they will love these. They are just TOO cute. This could make a nice special occasion gift between your daughter and her friends.

I love Glitter Girl shoes as they fit my 14 1/2 Ruby Red Fashion Friends perfectly... To be honest, I really didn't buy these for the light-up effect as I think the idea of kind of funny since we're talking about dolls here, but I loved the overall style and look. Since the lights are part of their marketing appeal, I will say that one shoe works better than the other. So unlike a kid's light-up, these have a button of sorts hidden somewhere on the sides. It can be a bit of a challenge to make it work-but they do work, one side much better than the other as you can see. It stays lit for about 10 seconds. Overall, I would still recommend these for absolute cuteness!

I couldn't help but buy these because my granddaughter loves her own light up shoes so much but neither the original pair shipped nor the replacement pair worked. Both pair were missing the protective tab over the batteries. The first pair didn't light up at all; the second pair one shoe lit up and the other didn't. My guess is seller got a batch of defective shoes, so buyer beware - price is a little steep for a pair of light up shoes that won't work! That being said, returns were easy and I could have UPS pick up with no return shipment costs... so I am happy with the return process, just a waste of time. And disappointed - the concept was adorable.

Cute shoes, but Item was defective. Only one shoe lighted up. I kept shoes, but got a refund half price back for them at least.
